Robotic systems for construction site safety
Examining the readiness, opportunities and challenges of deploying robotic dogs on New Zealand construction sites, including autonomous navigation, site trials and industry readiness.

A multidisciplinary team from Massey University’s School of Built Environment, School of Health Sciences and School of Mathematical and Computational Sciences, working with the Centre for Smart Modern Construction at Western Sydney University.
The research covers autonomous navigation and robotic dog trials, the health and safety implications of human–robot interaction, and an industry engagement and expert survey on New Zealand’s readiness to adopt robotic dogs.
